The competition commission completed interviewing the candidates running for posts of Chair of the Georgian Central Election Commission and its members.

The 11-member commission interviewed 22 applicants and will select at least 2 or a maximum of 3 candidates for each vacant post and submit them to the President for approval.

7 candidates are running for the post of CEC Chairperson, while 15 people for two vacant positions of a CEC member.
