Adam Kinzinger, US Congressman, says he would never refuse to meet with the Prime Minister. With such comment he responded to the reports that the Congressman did not want to meet with Irakli Garibashvili.

“I want to be clear. Members of Congress and I would never refuse to meet with the Prime Minister. We were not in DC that week, so it would have been impossible”, -twitted Adam Kinzinger.

The press service of the Governmental Administration also responds to this information. As they said, the Prime Minister’s visit to the US has not been scheduled and it is complete speculation to allege that Irakli Garibashvili’s visit was thwarted.

In this case, no visit was scheduled, therefore, it is complete speculation to allege that the Prime Minister’s visit to the United States was thwarted”, - reads the statement of Government’s press center.
