The officers of Ajara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained D.D. (DoB 1996) in Batumi for premeditated murder as a result of operative-investigative activities.

The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on July 21 of the current year, during the confrontation, the detainee inflicted lethal injuries with a cold steel to the security guard - J.B. (DoB 1964) of one of the cafe- bars located in Batumi and fled from the crime scene.

Police arrested D.D. as a result of immediate police activities within hours after the incident.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
