The National Democratic Institute (NDI) released a poll on the situation in Georgia.
Asked whether the stated goal of the Georgian government to become a member of the European Union is acceptable - 76% said “yes”, 11% - unacceptable, 13% do not know. Last year EU membership was acceptable for 80%.
As for NATO membership, the rate remains unchanged and is still acceptable for 74%. Unacceptable for 11%, 14% do not know.
The results reflect data collected between July 13-25, through telephone interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories, that included 2,016 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 1.3%. Respondents were selected using the random-digit-dial method.
