The public discussion of the constitutional amendments initiated in the Parliament will start today. The commission will hold a meeting in Kutaisi today and in Tbilisi tomorrow.

Because of the coronavirus, the process will be carried out remotely.

The changes include lowering the electoral threshold to 2% for the next two parliamentary elections, reducing the number of deputies needed to form a faction, and changing the rules for electing the Prosecutor general.
