The Steering Commission on Promulgation and Universal-Public Consideration of the Draft Constitutional Law on the Changes to the Constitution is introducing the scheduled changes to the Constitution.

The Draft envisages the change to the transitional provisions – the new norm is to be of the temporary nature to apply to the Parliament for two upcoming Elections.

The Draft envisages 4 main changes: the threshold of 2%; reduced number of MPs to set up the Faction; if the Elections are held before 2024, it will be held by a proportional rule with 2% threshold; and election of the Prosecutors General by 3/5 of the full composition, or if the Parliament twice fails to do so, the election will be held by the majority of full composition.
