16 Georgian citizens in Afghanistan are expected to return home today

16 Georgian citizens staying in Afghanistan are expected to return home today.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they will first fly to Dubai with a flight provided by the British side, and then return to Georgia.

This morning they were safely transported to the airport, to a NATO military base. They will board the plane.

A total of 22 Georgian citizens were in Afghanistan. 6 of them managed to return to their homeland a few days ago.
