Prime Minister responds to the return of Georgian citizens from Afghanistan

The last 16 Georgian citizens remaining in Afghanistan, are travelling back home, wrote the Prime Minister on Facebook.

According to Irakli Garibashvili, “our citizens are safe, they are already on board the plane and will be in Georgia soon”.

A total of 22 Georgian citizens, all former soldiers who worked for Canadian and American companies, were in Kabul.
