Prime Minister of Georgie met internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Abkhazia living by the Coastguard Base Station of Poti and received firsthand information about their problems.
IDPs from Abkhazia, who currently live by the Coastguard Base Station of Poti noted at a meeting with Irakli Garibashvili today that the location is not justified for dwelling due to health reasons, which is why they wish the state to find an alternative location. The Head of Government of Georgia promised to find a solution in the most efficient manner. According to Natia Turnava, Minister of Economy, about 100 households live in the vicinity of the Coastguard Base Station and as the Prime Minister has instructed, safe dwelling will be provided in the most efficient manner.
