The Chairman of the Central Election Commission recommends the employees to refrain from agitation on the personal page of social networks.

“Both district and precinct election commission members must adhere to the Code of Ethics for Georgian Election Administration Officials, be fair and impartial, and refrain from actions aimed at discrediting the election administration. I would like to remind them once again that a commission member is prohibited from participating in the pre-election campaign.

I want to recommend to the members of the District Election Commission to refrain from any action that may be considered in support of or against any election subject, including the use of personal calls on the social network for political purposes, as well as from participating in the pre-election meeting of a party or a candidate, and to separate their professional activities from the political processes as much as possible”, - said Giorgi Kalandarishvili.
