The Government of Georgia takes the responsibility to hold free, transparent and competitive elections so that no questions remain unanswered. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“The OSCE/ODIHR, NDI and IRI election observer missions, and MEPs would watch the municipal elections. Our main wish and the goal was to invite as many election observers as possible.

The opposition did not prepare for the elections. Our opponents plotted provocations acknowledging in advance that they would lose the race in every city.

The government would not admit provocations. The country will hold the elections peacefully and will continue peaceful development”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
