The third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, who was detained today in Tbilisi, released a video with Yelyzaveta Iasko, where he says that they have started a new relationship.

“Liza and I want to inform everyone that we are starting a new life together, a new family. I have had a wonderful life; the perfectly good past. However, we have met each other, and despite all past relationships for which I want to thank everyone, Liza Yasko and I are together.

We have a family. We want everyone to know this and wish us happiness”, - said Mikheil Saakashvili.

Yelyzaveta Yasko is the former head of the OSCE delegation in Ukraine and the current MP of the Verkhovna Rada.
