Nika Melia’s parliamentary mandate terminated

The parliamentary mandate of the Chairman of the United National Movement terminated.

79 MPs supported the decision to terminate the parliamentary mandate for Nika Melia, none of the members of legislature voted against it.

The Chairperson of the UNM voluntarily announced his resignation on July 29 after the Georgian Dream annulled the Charles Michel agreement. Melia submitted a written statement addressed to the Speaker of the Parliament on August 3.
