The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, Baurzhan Mukhamejanov.

During the meeting, the parties underlined the significance of bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of two countries in fighting against transnational organized crime.

Importance of conducting working visits with the aim of sharing experience between the countries was also highlighted.

At the end of the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan talked about the perspectives of future relations and the ways of enhancing the existing cooperation in the field of law enforcement.
