The Special Penitentiary Service has published the footage showing the transfer of Mikheil Saakashvili from Rustavi to the Gldani prison medical facility.

According to the video, the former president is taken by the prison administration staff by holding him with his legs and hands.

The Minister of Justice spoke at the briefing held today regarding the spread footage.

“The prisoner did not obey the lawful request of our employees. He physically and verbally abused our employees”, - said Rati Bregadze.
