All 120 employees of the State Inspector’s Service should automatically maintain their positions by the force of law. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Georgian Dream.

“The State Inspector’s Service has 9 departments with about 120 employees. We have had consultations, a project has been developed and we have such a proposal: absolutely all the employees of the Investigation Department should automatically maintain their positions by the force of law.

As for the Public Sector Oversight Department, the Law Enforcement Oversight Department, and the Private Sector Oversight Department, these are the departments that deal with personal data protection. I suggest that employees of these departments be automatically, without competition, represented in the new Personal Data Protection Service. The issue involving departments with administrative functions is relatively complex. 7 departments are in charge of administrative functions. In this case, we suggest that the employees be given the opportunity to be redeployed to these 2 services according to their will”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
