Police officer detained on the fact of violence against a woman in Zugdidi

The Prosecutor’s Office has arrested a police officer G.B. for the fact of violence against a woman in Zugdidi.

According to the agency, the investigation has established that on January 25, in Zugdidi, G.B. punched his girlfriend several times in the face during a personal dispute.

Police officer arrested for committing an action under the first part of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (beating or other violence that caused physical pain to the victim).
