The Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Austria Thomas Mühlmann.

The parties discussed the close friendly and partnership relations between the countries and touched upon the potential of further cooperation.

They overviewed the Parliamentary agenda and underlined the importance of the inter-Parliamentary relations and dwelt on the plans of the Parliament, developments in the country and the grave security situation in the region.

The Speaker thanked the Ambassador for intact support to the sovereignty of Georgia in various international formats.
