The President of Ukraine wrote on Twitter about the telephone conversation with the British Prime Minister.

“Had a phone conversation with Boris Johnson. Received assurances of his support on the eve of tomorrow’s important meetings. Discussed the course of hostilities and defense assistance to Ukraine. We will win together”, - tweeted Volodymyr Zelensky.

“I spoke to President Zelensky and reiterated the UK’s horror at the bombardment of Ukraine and admiration for his armed forces. At tomorrow’s G7 and NATO meetings I’ll be urging international partners to send more defensive lethal aid to Ukraine and step up pressure on Putin”, - tweeted Boris Johnson.
