The processes against hate speech continue. The Senaki District Court fined Diana Chakvetadze 500 GEL for insulting Shorena Begashvili.

Meanwhile, the Tbilisi City Court reviewed the case and fined Levan Davituliani 1,500 GEL, who insulted Zurab Japaridze.

“Regarding such cases, hundreds of cases are being reviewed across Georgia. Recently, such offenses have relatively decreased, however, responses are definitely ongoing in an active mode, and cases of this type are being sent to the courts”, - said Salome Kiria, a lawyer for the Ministry of Finance.
