Tbilisi Mayor addressed today the construction sector with an initiative.
“From 2019, we have limited the excess of the K2 coefficient. We do not oppose construction in the city, but it must be done properly. I would like to introduce our initiative to the construction sector regarding the K2 payoff distribution.
This applies to construction permits issued before 2019 that have purchased a K2 coefficient. These companies cannot pay the fee. Because of this, construction is stalled and they owe a multimillion-dollar debt to the municipality. We negotiated with construction companies, agreed to allow the payoff distribution of K2. The bill has already been submitted to Parliament and a decision will be made soon”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
