NATO foreign ministers are meeting in Brussels as the U.S. and allies are coordinating on a new round of sanctions to punish the Kremlin for the alleged murders of civilians by its troops in Ukraine.

At the invitation of the North Atlantic Alliance, the Foreign Minister of Georgia will also take part in the meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

Ilia Darchiashvili will have a personal meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. In addition, the Minister will meet with colleagues from Japan, Canada and the Netherlands.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also arrived to Brussels to attend the NATO Foreign Ministerial. He will discuss continued Allied efforts to provide support for Ukraine.
