Speaker of the Parliament said today that the visit to Ukraine was “warm, and friendly”.According to Shalva Papuashvili, this visit “helped the sides to clarify many issues”.
“The parties agreed to verify reports and information with each other. Previous misunderstandings between Georgian and Ukrainian politicians had been resolved.
Georgia is a country with an experience of three wars with Russia, therefore, the country is sensitive with the claims about likely side talks with Russia.
Sadly, Ukraine received some distorted information. Georgia, the government should play their role through proactive communication so that the Ukrainian public will be fully informed on how Georgia, the Georgian people and the Georgian government stand by Ukraine”, - said the Chairman of legislature.
