President of Georgia congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his victory in the second round of elections according to preliminary data.

“Congratulations to Emmanuel Macron, with you France won! It’s Europe that wins! And we win, Georgians, Ukrainians who need a strong, worthy Europe, that Russia is forced to respect and cannot buy or crush!”, - tweeted Salome Zourabichvili.

The Presidential election runoffs took place in France on Sunday, with Macron defeating his far-right adversary Marine Le Pen by garnering 58.5% of the vote.
