The trial of the third President of Georgia in the case of illegal crossing of the state border of Georgia will be held today.

The hearing will be held in Tbilisi City Court. Mikheil Saakashvili will not attend the trial.

The investigation into the fact of illegal border crossing by former president started on October 1. Four more people - Elguja Tsomaia, Zurab and Shalva Tsotsoria and Giorgi Narimanidze - have been charged in the case.
