President of Armenia met with Georgian MPs. Vahagn Khachaturyan also met with the Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili.

As the Chairman said, first visit of the President of Armenia to Georgia is symbolic, which once again emphasizes the importance of the relations between the two countries.

The sides discussed the fruitful cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia in various domains. The increase in the dynamics of high-level visits was regarded as a positive development.

They also dwelt on the current developments in the region and discussed the steps taken toward establishing regional peace and stability.

The sides pledged to continue to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.
