According to Michael Gahler, Member of the European Parliament, Ukrainians, Moldovans and Georgians deserve to live in free, democratic and prosperous countries.

“EU leaders must now live up to their historic responsibility. The European Parliament today calls on the EUCO to grant without delay EU candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova and to Georgia once its government delivers on the indicated priorities.

Ukrainians, Moldovans and Georgians have continuously supported a pro-European orientation of their countries.

Ukrainians, Moldovans and Georgians deserve to live in free, democratic and prosperous countries that are members of the European family.

The EUCO can today take an important first step towards fulfilling their legitimate aspirations”, - tweeted Michael Gahler.
