The US Embassy in Georgia has released a statement regarding the altercation between members of the Georgian Dream and Vato Tsereteli, the founder of Pirveli TV, during a reception held at the Embassy.

“The U.S. Embassy is aware of reports of an altercation during our Independence Day event on the Embassy compound.

We are looking into these reports”, - reads the statement of the Embassy.
