30 electric chargers will be installed at different addresses in Tbilisi, and 20 chargers will be installed on the high-speed highway. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“In order to encourage the introduction of electric vehicles in the country, we have made certain decisions. Together with the private sector, we have taken an important decision, and in addition, the project of installing 50 electric chargers will be implemented. Of these, 30 chargers will be installed at different addresses in the capital, and 20 chargers will be installed in the western direction, on the high-speed highway.

It is planned to arrange two electric charging stations, where ten quick chargers with their necessary infrastructure, food facilities, leisure spaces, and places will be arranged at each of them in both Tbilisi-Batumi and Batumi-Tbilisi directions. The mentioned project will be implemented from today, for approximately 7 months”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
