Public Defender to be heard in the Parliament today

The Public Defender of Georgia will be heard in the Parliament today, October 7.

Nino Lomjaria will present the annual report at the plenary session of the legislature and will introduce the 2021 report on the protection of human rights to the deputies.

Last week the Ombudsman’s report was discussed at the Human Rights Protection Committee of the Parliament.

MPs from the Georgian Dream expresses hope that they will get answers to all questions from the Ombudsman. The opposition MPs positively evaluate the work of the Public Defender’s Office.
