Candidates for Public Defender’s position to be presented at Bureau today

Political groups and factions will submit their candidates for the Public Defender’s position at today’s session of the Bureau of the Parliament.

19 applications have been submitted to the legislature for the Ombudsman’s position and all 19 candidates will be presented to the Parliament for consideration, as the Citizens political group decided to present all the willing candidates.

The future Public Defender should be elected for a term of 6 years, with a 90-vote quorum.
