The Prime Minister of Italy responds to the congratulations of her Georgian colleague on Twitter.

“I am grateful for the thought you had for me, Irakli Garibashvili. We will do everything necessary to strengthen relations between Italy and Georgia and support the path of your nation”, - tweeted Giorgia Meloni.

Meloni has been named Italy’s first female prime minister at the head of a right-wing Government.
