Shalva Papuashvili meets with the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia

Chairman of the Georgian Parliament met with Pawel Herczynski, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia.

The parties discussed the process of implementation of 12 recommendations of the European Union in detail. The opinions and expectations of the European Union regarding the progress made by Georgia in this direction were also discussed.

Shalva Papuashvili noted that the Parliament will complete the work on the recommendations according to the pre-devised plan.

The Speaker and the Ambassador also talked about other issues on the agenda of bilateral relations, among which they emphasized the importance of a high-level visit of the European Commission to Georgia in the near future.

The EU Ambassador noted that the EU representation will continue to support Georgia in the process of implementing the recommendations.
