Tbilisi City Hall starts implementation of a pilot project for the replacement of damaged buildings. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“The said building is located in the third block of Varketili, from where 36 families have been moved out. The municipality provides them with the rent for the living spaces. The company that won the tender is already carrying out dismantling works, which will be completed by the end of the year. Next year, the construction of a new building will begin, the project of which is ready. A construction permit has been issued.

Apartments belonging to residents will be handed repaired back over to them. At this stage, more than 20 projects are participating in the program, which are in different process stages. We hope that the replacement of damaged buildings will be implemented more actively from next year”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
