Shalva Papuashvili, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, met Erin Elizabth McKee, Assistant Administrator (AA) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia (E&E).

Focus was made at the meeting on the firm support of the USAID towards Georgia in every key direction.

Erin McKee expressed readiness to support Georgia in the process of implementing 12 recommendations of the European Union.

The importance of two new USAID programs on strengthening national and local governance was emphasized at the meeting.
