The Minister of Economy evaluated the meetings held in Brussels

Georgian Minister of Economy evaluated the meetings held in Brussels. According to Levan Davitashvili, he had discussed progress made by the country that brought it closer to the European Union in his meetings with European commissioners.

“Various aspects of Georgia’s cooperation with the EU had been discussed in the meeting. A very important part was dedicated to the 12 recommendations of the European Commission for Georgia’s membership candidate status.

We discussed in detail the flagship projects that Georgia has with the European Union. This is cooperation in the field of energy, communications and trade. All this, of course, will bring us even closer to the European Union and promote our integration into the European Union”, - said the Minister.

As he added, the commissioners received detailed information about the process of implementation of priorities outlined by the EU as well as political reforms initiated by the Georgian government.
