EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi visits Georgia.

Deputy Foreign Minister Teimuraz Janjalia and Georgia’s Ambassador to the EU, Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, greeted the EU Commissioner at Tbilisi International Airport.

According to the Government Administration, the European Commissioner will hold meetings in Tbilisi. He will meet today with the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Besides, a joint press conference of Irakli Garibashvili and Oliver Varhelyi will be held in the Government Administration.

During his visit to Georgia, the EU Commissioner will also meet with legislative authorities to review the country’s progress and next steps toward EU membership.
