The European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement concludes his visit to Georgia.

Within the framework of his visit to Georgia, Olivér Várhelyi, met with the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, representatives of Parliamentary factions and groups, as well as independent MPs as part of an expanded format.

The sides discussed Georgia’s European perspective and its progress in implementing the 12 recommendations issued by the European Commission for the country to achieve candidate status.
