Parliament starts discussions of the Election Code with the 2nd reading

After the preliminary assessment of the Venice Commission on the Electoral Code, the Parliament starts the second reading of the draft law.

Legislators will discuss the issue tomorrow, December 8, at the Legal Affairs Committee. Before that, the MPs will discuss the topic at today"s working meeting.

According to the majority, the conclusion is positive and the Parliament will consider the presented recommendations.

In the first reading, the Parliament adopted the draft law on October 5, after which the amendments were sent to the Venice Commission.
