According to the decision of the political council of the United National Movement, the election of the chairman of the party will be held on January 28-29, 2023.

As the Chairman of the political council, Koba Nakopia, said, the elections will be held using the Blockchain system.

“Representatives of the candidates presented two projects. One project implied electronic voting, through the Facebook platform, the other was the Blockchain platform. Majority of members supported Blockchain, just 1 person was against. 69 voted for it. The decision was made in favor of Blockchain, which was presented by Nika Melia’s group”, - added Nakopia.
