From January 1, 2023, the upper limit of pension loans in “Liberty Bank” will be significantly reduced

In particular, according to Aleko Elisashvili, Head of the opposition Citizens party, the top ceiling on interest rates for pension loans at Liberty Bank will be 26%.

The Citizens party spearheaded talks on why the most vulnerable population pay the highest interest rates. The party members met Liberty Bank executives, the President of the National Bank of Georgia, and Deputy Health Ministers.
