“It is important to underline that the security of our nation is based on Georgian counterintelligence. In this regard, the Security Service’s activity is successful, and this success can be measured by specific indicators, such as: expelling from the country entities acting against national interests, preventing their entry into the country, identifying and thwarting them at the stage of developing their plans, and ensuring the continuity and stable expansion of our country"s security and development. The security service has positions anywhere threats to our nation and its residents may come from, and it has access to all the information required to safeguard Georgia’s essential interests and make quick judgments in the area of national security”, - said Irakli Beraia.
