Prime Minister attends public viewing of Georgian film and theater actor Jemal Ghaghanidze

Georgian Prime Minister attended the public viewing of Jemal Ghaghanidze, Georgian film and theater actor, People’s Artist of Georgia. The viewing was held at Rustaveli Theater.

Irakli Garibashvili extended his condolences to the family, colleagues, and loved ones of the deceased.

Since 1956, Jemal Ghaghanidze has been a Rustaveli Theater actor. He has portrayed numerous distinctive characters in Georgian cinema, also having taken part in TV series. On 2011, a star honoring Jemal Ghaghanidze was unveiled in front of Rustaveli Theater. He has garnered various important accolades and awards. Jemal Ghaghanidze was Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi.

Together with the Head of Government, the public viewing was also attended by Chairman of the Georgian Dream Party Irakli Kobakhidze, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, and Chief of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili.
