Georgian Prime Minister met with Zurab Beridze, Georgia’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Norway.
Irakli Garibashvili congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a new position and wished him success.
The conversation at the meeting focused on the close friendly relations and partnership between Georgia and the Kingdom of Norway, and the growing dynamic characterizing these relations.
It was noted that these relations encompass a wide array of cooperation, including in the political, economic, defense, education, and cultural areas, and a hope of further intensifying these relations was also expressed.
Zurab Beridze has years-long diplomatic experience. He has served as Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to a number of countries. In different years, he also served in various capacities in the Foreign Ministry.
