Additional security measures to be taken in the Parliament today, March 6. In particular, entry to the legislature will be restricted.
“Entrance to the Parliament building will be limited under the restraints specified in the Georgian Parliament Speaker’s order N259/3.
The limitation will not apply to accredited media or anyone attending pre-arranged committee discussions.
The stated event’s objective is to protect the safety of the MPs, apparatus personnel, and visitors to the Parliament, as well as to ensure appropriate working conditions”, - reads the statement of the Parliament.
The Legal Issues Committee will discuss the Transparency of Foreign Influence and Foreign Agents Registration Act bills introduced by People’s Power.
