Former Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vano Merabishvili says that they are going to start mass protests.

“We are going to start mass protests and I am sure that the Georgian society will support us.

Of course, our main goal is to change the Government and bring a pro-Western, pro-Ukrainian Government to power so that Ukraine is not alone, because we are in fact allies.

Georgia and Ukraine should celebrate together the victory over Russia, as well as joining the European Union and NATO.

I am sure that spring and summer will be interesting for solving Georgia’s problems”, - said Vano Merabishvili.

Kakha Kaladze, the Tbilisi Mayor and the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, said “any attempts by the radical wing” of the domestic opposition to replace the current authorities “through chaos and revolution” were “doomed to fail”.

“If someone thinks it is possible to change the Government through confrontation, revolution or bloodshed, they are very wrong. The change of the authorities can take place like in any democratic, developed country, in a civilised manner, by decision of the country’s population”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
