The Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated the Jewish people on Passover.

“I wholeheartedly wish a happy beginning of Pesach to our Jewish compatriots and the Jews who have returned to their historical homeland of Israel.

This glorious celebration of the physical and spiritual liberation of the Jews is important to any freedom-loving nation, including us Georgians who enjoy millennia-old brotherhood and friendship with Jews.

Consequently, together with our country’s citizens, I join you in your celebration with all my heart and soul.

I wish peace, prosperity, and progress to you and your families”, - writes Irakli Garibashvili.
