It’s about time the State Department begins to hold Georgia’s corrupt judges to account - Jim Risch

It’s about time the State Department begins to hold Georgia’s corrupt judges to account, - Senator Jim Risch thus responded to the announcement of public designations of four Georgian judges by the U.S. Department of State.

“Today’s designations are long-overdue, but very welcome. I will continue to support the desires of the Georgian people to move to a more democratic and transparent future”, - tweeted the Senator.

Yesterday, April 5, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced public designations of Mikheil Chinchaladze, Levan Murusidze, Irakli Shengelia and Valerian Tsertsvadze under Section 7031(c) visa restriction authorities, due to their involvement in significant corruption.
