I heard disturbing information about many things from the judges. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia after the meeting with the members of the Supreme Council of Justice.

“It was related to certain pressure and interferences. I confirm that I have received the information. I heard it from Mr. Dimitri and members of the Council. It was a closed meeting and I cannot talk about the facts publicly, but the time will come and the public will know everything.

You know that the government avoids any excessive contact with the court, except for the fact that we support our judges. We have reduced contacts as much as possible.

If it is necessary for a specific case, I, as the Prime Minister, am always ready to hear information from the judges, to share their concerns, and after that, we will discuss together how the situation can be resolved”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
