BBC releases a film on the case of call centers, in which David Kezerashvili is named as the founder of call centers in Georgia

The BBC released a film on so-called scam call centers. According to the documentary of BBC, the majority of call centers operating in Georgia were located in the so-called Pixel building, and many of them were founded or registered by the former Minister of Defense of Georgia, David Kezerashvili.

In the film, he is referred to as “Mr. Offshore”.

The BBC camera crew attended a special operation conducted by Georgian police in the office of one of the call centers, which was also attended by German prosecutors.

As the journalist says, in parallel with the mentioned special operation, 30 more raids were carried out throughout Georgia.

According to the BBC, Kezerashvili was a connecting link between other persons mentioned in the investigation who own or manage scam companies – David Todua, Mikheil Benimini, Ioseb Mgeladze, Rati Chelidze and Guram Gogeshvili.
